Dead Wooding / Thinning
Dead wooding / thinning is the removal of dead, dying, diseased, crowded, weakly attached and low-vigor branches from the crown of the tree.
Deadwood is harmful to a tree's health and growth. It is a breeding ground for insects, fungus and disease. If allowed to manifest, deadwood can cause serious health issues to your trees - along with the obvious concerns of dead limbs . . . resulting in injury and/or property damage.
